The Namesake

In 2017, Jean Bruneau, CONFORMiT in-house EHS expert, was at headquarters delivering a speech about its vision of Operational Risk Management. With this simple expression, “I envision workers being able to chat with our software, asking whatever questions they have about safety, and we can answer back with something specifically relevant to their context…”, the idea of Johnny, generative AI agent was born. Sadly, Jean Bruneau lost his battle against cancer October 5th, 2023.

Aside from being a beloved colleague at CONFORMiT for almost a decade, Jean was a loving husband to his wife Marie-Josée and an amazing father to Antoine and William.

His professional experience blended seamlessly with his personal integrity and devotion to safety. With 30 years in incident prevention in all aspects of Health & Safety for world-class companies, he sought a sustainable method for risk prevention.
